New 2019 AOSC Residents' Symposium

In a joint collaboration with the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore, AOSC will feature a Residents' Symposium for the first time this 2019. Join us on Thursday, 21st February 2019 where participants can look forward to learning more on 'Overcoming Challenging Malocclusions' as shared by postgraduate students. Attendees can also expect to be treated to a tour of the new and state-of-the-art facilities of National University Centre for Oral Health Singapore (NUCOHS) followed by a networking tea session. Programme

Time: 14:00 - 15:30 hrs

Session: Residents Symposium at AOSC (at Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands)

Four challenging malocclusions will be discussed where postgraduate students share:

  • What the malocclusion is about
  • Why the malocclusion is challenging
  • How the malocclusion was investigated and analysed
  • How the malocclusion was managed
  • What published evidence were used to support the management approach
  • What were the principal learning points from this challenging case

Time: 15:30 - 16:30 hrs

Session: Tour of NUCOHS & Tea

Be treated to a tour of the new and state-of-the-art facilities of National University Centre for Oral Health Singapore (NUCOHS) - where clinical service, dental education, and oral health research take place in the eco-system of the National University Health System, and the National University of Singapore.

A Tea Session will cap off the day, offering added opportunities to network with other postgraduate students, before returning to Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre.
